Hydroponic growing systems

Deep Water Culture (DWC) system: This system involves suspending plants in nutrient-rich water with the help of a floating platform or net pot. An air pump is used to provide oxygen to the plant roots.

Drip Irrigation system: In this system, water and nutrients are dripped onto the plant roots from a reservoir above. This system is best for plants that require less water.

Ebb and Flow system: Also known as a flood and drain system, it involves flooding the plant roots with water and nutrients and then draining them back into the reservoir.

Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system: In this system, a thin film of nutrient-rich water is circulated over the plant roots, which are suspended in a trough. The roots absorb the nutrients they need from the film.

Aeroponics system: This is a high-tech system that involves suspending the plant roots in the air and misting them with nutrient-rich water. The mist is provided by a high-pressure pump.

Wick system: This is a simple system that involves using a wick to draw water and nutrients up from a reservoir and into the plant roots.

Each of these systems has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the choice of system will depend on factors such as the type of plants being grown, available space, and budget.
